AKKURTLAR PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING DISCLOSURE STATEMENT

This “Disclosure Statement” is issued by AKKURTLAR in accordance with Article 10 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 ("KVKK") to inform and enlighten you regarding the processing of your personal data, the transfer of such data, the methods and legal basis for collection of your personal data, and your rights listed under Article 11 of the KVKK. We emphasize that we show maximum sensitivity regarding the confidentiality and security of all personal data you provide and that we take all necessary technical and administrative security measures to protect this data.

Data Controller Status
As AKKURTLAR, in our capacity as the Data Controller under the KVKK, we hereby inform you that your personal data will be recorded, stored, processed, classified, updated, and disclosed/transferred to third parties in accordance with the purpose for which they are processed, to the extent and under the conditions permitted by the relevant legislation, all in compliance with the law and principles of good faith.

Purpose of Processing Your Personal Data
Your personal data, including camera recordings, are processed for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring the secure delivery of transportation services,

  • Ensuring the safety of passengers and employees,

  • Maintaining order within vehicles and clarifying potential incidents,

  • Monitoring service quality,

  • Providing information to judicial and administrative authorities when necessary,

  • Executing internal audit and security processes within the company,

  • Fulfilling obligations arising from applicable legislation.

Your data is stored securely in physical and electronic environments for a duration appropriate to the purpose of processing. AKKURTLAR hereby declares that it acts in full compliance with the KVKK and other relevant legislation.

Method and Legal Basis for Collecting Your Personal Data
Your personal data is collected through various channels for the purpose of executing AKKURTLAR’s activities, including:

  • Personal data directly provided by you to AKKURTLAR: All information and documents you submit to us,

  • Personal data collected about you from third parties: Information and documents obtained from institutions and organizations AKKURTLAR cooperates with and/or its clients, and from official institutions such as the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR),

  • Personal data collected through different technologies.

Your personal data may be collected by AKKURTLAR and/or affiliated institutions via websites and other similar channels, through automated or non-automated methods, and in written, oral, or electronic form.

Within this scope, your personal data may be processed and transferred with your explicit consent as per Article 4/2 of the KVKK, or without your explicit consent in cases defined under Articles 5/2 and 6/3 of the KVKK.

Transfer of Your Personal Data
Within the scope of the purposes mentioned above, your personal data may be shared, based on your explicit consent or in the presence of circumstances outlined by applicable legislation including Article 5/2 of the KVKK, and within the framework of Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, with regional representatives, direct/indirect business partners, clients we are contracted with, suppliers, business partners, independent audit firms within legal limitations, or public institutions and organizations authorized to request such data, as well as other relevant entities.

Your Rights Under Article 11 of KVKK
As AKKURTLAR, it is of utmost importance for us that the personal data we process and/or store is accurate and up to date due to the nature of our commercial activities. Accordingly, we kindly request that you inform us as soon as possible in the event of any changes to your personal data.

Moreover, as the owner of the personal data, excluding the exceptions set forth in Article 28 of the KVKK, you are entitled to the following rights under Article 11:

  • To learn whether your personal data is being processed,

  • To request information if your personal data has been processed,

  • To learn the purpose of processing and whether your personal data is being used in accordance with that purpose,

  • To know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically,

  • To request correction if your personal data has been processed incompletely or inaccurately,

  • To request deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of Article 7 of the KVKK,

  • To request that the corrections or deletions of your personal data be notified to the third parties to whom the data has been transferred,

  • To object to any result arising against you through the exclusive analysis of your personal data by automated systems,

  • To request compensation if you incur damage due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.

In this context, to exercise your rights, you are required to submit your request to AKKURTLAR “in writing” or by other methods as determined by the KVKK. Since the Personal Data Protection Board has not yet specified other methods, your request must currently be submitted in writing. To do so, you may apply in person with a written petition including documents verifying your identity and details of the right you wish to exercise, or you may send your request to our company at Abdurrahmangazi Mah. Hasanağa Cad. No:14/A Akkurtlar Plaza Sancaktepe / İstanbul via notary or with a secure electronic signature.

By performing any operation on AKKURTLAR’s website, it is understood that you have read and accepted the above-mentioned Personal Data Protection Policy Statement, and that you irrevocably declare, accept, and undertake that you give consent to the processing and sharing of your personal data obtained through the website and other digital means.
